Posted : 10/7/2008 Comments : I visited the library to find out information about my dog's pancreatic exocrine insuffiency and found out more information than my current vet was able to tell me. I am looking for a vet that is familiar with this ailment as the ongoing side effects of the medication worry me and I can't find any info myself. Thank you for the library. It really helped. As an in-home dog trainer and behavior counselor in the Plymouth area, I recommend Plymouth Veterinary to my clients. I enjoy working closely with Dr. Gorbea on behavioral issues that are health-related so my clients receive wholistic treatment. Two of my three cats have been going to Dr. Gorbea for about 6 months now and I'm amazed at the difference in both. Their previous vet did not show the attention and care that Dr. Gorbea and staff has shown. My previous vet seemed to try to get us in and out of the office as fast a possible versus really getting to know my pets or listening to my concerns about their health. The staff even knows my name and my pets. What a huge difference! Our third cat will be seeing Dr. Gorbea in the fall, and I expect the same outcome.....another happy pet! I can't believe I waited so long to switch vets! I recommend Dr. Gorbea and staff to everyone. Posted : 3/15/2007 Comments : I am a client and employee at Plymouth Veterinary Hospital. I trust Dr. Gorbea and every single staff member 100% with each and every one of my pets: Bailey my eleven year old dog, Ditty my eight year old cat and Freddie my twelve year old cat. It is one thing to work somewhere that you love, but such a comfort to truly believe in and trust where you work with all of your heart! The communication is such an important factor for this practice and I see it being delivered on a daily basis. The love and care that goes in to each indivual client and patient is awesome! My cat Ditty Monster just had a dentistry done last month, her overall attitude and personality has turned around tremendously. I had no idea before I was in this field that cleaning our pets teeth was important and of value to there overall health. Now I know and thanks to Dr. Gorbea and our wonderful back staff Ditty's teeth are sparkling and no longer have a bad odor. I am thankful for Plymouth Veterinary Hospital in many ways. She has become more herself and more playful and alert and she even lost 6 pounds. She seems like she has gotten her youth back. Amazing what blood tests can reveal, and how we can give life back to our loving pets. I searched online for a nearby veterinarian that actually had a website. I wanted to make sure I was taking my little girl to a good quality vet and a website can tell you a lot. I was very impressed with the website and the fact that they are AAHA accredited, which is difficult to achieve and means high quality care.
